More Than 350 Mikiskaw Celebrati

Join us for Elder’s Stories about Mikiskaw & Christmas Weskach

Moose River Heritage and Hospitality Association invites you to join in person or virtually for elders storytelling sessions being held next week in Moose Factory and Moosonee. The event will be preceded by dinner and lunch for elders (RSVP required by Dec. 10).

Come for tea and bannock to listen to elders share stories of Mikiskaw and Christmas “wesktach” (long ago). Both events will finish with live music.

These events are organized as part of the Mikiskaw (darkening of the year) Celebration of Moose Factory’s More Than 350 Commemorative Year.
