Heartfelt Condolences to Those in Mourning

Heartfelt condolences to those in mourning

To those who have recently lost friends, neighbours, family members or loved ones in Attawapiskat First Nation, we share in your grief.

On behalf of the Mushkegowuk Council of Chiefs, our communities, staff, Deputy Grand Chief Amos Wesley and Deputy Grand Chief Natasha Martin, Grand Chief Leo Friday offers his sincere, heartfelt condolences to those in mourning.

We are blessed with the ability to remember and honour those who have passed and to keep their memories alive forever in our hearts.

We call upon our God and Creator for strength as we mourn together during this very difficult time.

God bless.
