Mushkegowuk Council holds you close in our thoughts; We are deeply sorry for your loss

The pain that follows the loss of a community member or loved one is ever sharper when it’s a young person whose life has been robbed from their friends and family.

We share the grief of those who are mourning the sudden passing in recent weeks of Gary Wesley Jr., Ralph Wheesk Jr. and Claudia Wesley.

Though we weep their loss,
Their spirit lives on,
Dwelling in that warm place in our hearts.

On behalf of Mushkegowuk Council of Chiefs and staff, Grand Chief Leo Friday, Deputy Grand Chief Amos Wesley and Deputy Grand Chief Natasha Martin offer sincere and heartfelt condolences.

Once again, we call upon our God and Creator for strength as we mourn together during this difficult time.
