SUMMARY:Orange Shirt Day Walk
DESCRIPTION:As frontline workers\, community helpers\, community leaders\, and survivors impacted by residential schools and historical trauma\, we understand that this day can be challenging. Often\, the responsibility of organizing these events falls on us\, our own people\, while we continue to support our communities and navigate our own healing journeys.\n\n\nThis year\, we want to bring the focus back to ourselves and one another.\nWe walk to heal. We walk to remember. We walk to honour our people and recognize the strength and resilience that continue to carry us forward.\nWe warmly invite all departments and staff to join us as we come together in remembrance\, healing\, unity\, and hope.\nPlease see the attached poster for event details. We look forward to walking alongside you.
