If you’re in Moosonee, you’re welcome to come join us for this event taking place on Tuesday, May 5.
If you’re not available, please say a little prayer for our missing and murdered Indigenous women, girl men and boys.
Walk starts from the Community Hall, continuing down First Street and then back to the Community Hall for a luncheon.
There will be booths and displays, as well as information about local women shelter services.
Speakers will include: Lillian Sutherland, a victim survivor of murdered loved one. There will also be a representative from the OPP on hand to speak on safety and awareness.
Everyone is welcome.
