Emergency Management at Mushkegowuk Council focuses on supporting member First Nations in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies and disasters. This vital service ensures that communities have the resources, training, and plans needed to address a wide range of challenges, including natural disasters, public health crises, and infrastructure emergencies.

The program emphasizes:

Preparedness: Developing community-specific emergency plans, conducting training exercises, and increasing awareness to reduce vulnerabilities.
Response: Coordinating immediate actions to protect lives, property, and the environment during emergencies.
Recovery: Assisting communities in rebuilding and restoring after an event, ensuring long-term resilience.
