Join us for a presentation focused on recognizing warning signs, increasing awareness, and learning how to respond to human trafficking in our communities. Light supper will be provided. This event will take place in the community hall at the Reg Louttit Sportplex.
Meet with and hear from service providers aiming to increase awareness of human trafficking in our communities. They will discuss warning signs and ways to respond to this issue. This event will take place in the community hall at the Reg Louttit Sportplex.
The Restorative Justice programs from Mushkegowuk Council and Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services will be jointly hosting a land-based Youth Prevention Workshop for Kashechewan members, ages 12 to 29. Sign-up is needed, as 50 spots are available. They can sign up through emailing feathermetatawabin@mushkegowuk.ca or calling 705-288-6612. Meals and prizes will be provided.
