Chronic Care Ward at the Moose Factory General Hospital

RESOLUTION NO. 1987-20

CHRONIC CARE WARD AT THE MOOSE FACTORY GENERAL HOSPITAL

WHEREAS the Moose Factory Band and other Mushkegowuk Bands are concerned for the care and health of their elders, and;

WHEREAS the Moose Factory Band Chief has submitted a request to the Ontario Minister of Health, Murray Elston, for capital renovation dollars and for operation and maintenance dollars for a chronic care ward for elders in the above Moose Factory General Hospital;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT we, the Chiefs of the Mushkegowuk Council Bands, support the Moose Factory Band's submission to the Ontario Ministry of Health for the funding of a chronic care ward at the Moose Factory General Hospital.
