RESOLUTION NO. 1987-23
SUBJECT: GEOGRAPHICAL JURISDICTION
WHEREAS we have never surrendered our land, and;
WHEREAS it is important that we define the geographical area over which we continue to exercise authority.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT this Assembly adopt, in principle, the draft geographical jurisdiction contained in the Annual Report and that each community refine the boundaries through consultations with its members concerning traditional land use.
THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Directors and staff of this corporation seek funds to secure the services of a lands resources person to co-ordinate and assist the Bands in this matter.
