RESOLUTION NO. 1988-73

SUBJECT: BAND FIRE TRUCKS

WHEREAS certain Mushkegowuk Council communities suffer from unacceptable fire hazard due to a lack of adequate firetruck service, in particular Fort Albany, Kashechewan, New Post and Peawanuck.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mushkegowuk Council support these communities in their demand for adequate additional funding for fire trucks and training over and above the current allocation.
