RESOLUTION NO. 1990-125

SUBJECT: KASHECHEWAN CO-OP STORE

WHEREAS the Chief and Council of Kashechewan First Nation are in the process of self-government;

AND WHEREAS the Chief and Council of Kashechewan First Nation want to operate their own Band Store;

AND WHEREAS the Chief and Council of Kashechewan First Nation are aware that going into a business such as a Band Store is another key element in self­government;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Chief and Council of Kashechewan First Nation request the Mushkegowuk Council to process and lobby for a Band Co-op Store.
