RESOLUTION NO. 1990-135
OMUSHKEGOWUK HARVESTERS' ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS the Omushkegowuk Harvesters' Association (OHA) has adopted in principle to become more closely aligned to the Mushkegowuk Council for purposes of pursuing common issues to traditional pursuits;
WHEREAS the Board of Chiefs have responded favourably and have initiated discussions between the Council and the OHA to examine ways and means of aligning both the Council and the OHA;
WHEREAS this Assembly views the importance of having co-ordinated Mushkegowuk initiatives;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT this Assembly acknowledges the OHA's initiative and endorses in principle the move to have the Mushkegowuk Council and the OHA more closely aligned;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT a formal presentation be made to the next Assembly outlining the Omushkegowuk Harvesters' Association's approved relationship between this Council and the OHA for formal approval by this Assembly.
