RESOLUTION NO. 1992-05
Subject: Election Procedure
WHEREAS this Assembly has resolved that an election for the position of Chairperson of the Mushkegowuk Council be held at this Assembly;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the election for Chairperson of the Mushkegowuk Council take place in accordance with the following election procedures:
That Mr. Andrew Reuben be appointed as electoral officer with the power to supervise the election process and decide upon questions relating to the ballot, the counting of ballots and eligibility of voters.
All votes will take place by secret ballot.
As many ballots as are necessary will be conducted until one candidate receives over SO% of the ballots cast, and on each ballot the name of the candidate receiving the fewest number of votes will be withdrawn from the ballot.
