RESOLUTION NO. 1993-15

Subject: Social and Health Team Approach

WHEREAS within the Mushkegowuk regional Social and Health issues are being addressed through individual agency/government strategies;

AND WHEREAS resources are limited within the Mushkegowuk Region;

AND WHEREAS communities have expressed frustration with repetitive consultations;

A N D W H E R E A S community/agency/government service providers are experiencing burnout;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that all agencies and government service providers establish a team approach to addressing Social and Health issues;

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all agencies within the Mushkegowuk regional co-ordinate their efforts and resources to best meet the needs of the communities;

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that organizations will strengthen efforts to ensure that program development is community-driven.
