subject: Contamination Clean-up in Kashechewan
WHEREAS former school oil tanks have contaminated certain areas in the Kashechewan community, and these areas require clean-up;
AND WHEREAS DIA has begun a remediation programme to clean up the contaminated soil, but has not completed the programme;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Mushkegowuk Council supports Kashechewan in its demands that DIA complete the remediation in accordance with the programme.
