RESOLUTION NO. 1994-03-04
Fort Albany
WHEREAS Mushkegowuk Assembly Resolutions 1989-83, 1989-84 and 1989-95, were raised during the Assembly in Fort Albany in 1989;
WHEREAS, resident physicians continue to be priorities for improved health care in these communities;
WHEREAS, it is incumbent on the administration of Moose Factory Zone Hospital and the James Bay General Hospital in consultation with the communities in question to actively pursue the placement of resident doctors in these communities;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Special Assembly supports the communities of Attawapiskat, Kashechewan and Fort Albany in their pursuit of improved health services in their communities.
