SUBJECT: NON-COMMERCIAL HARVEST OF LABRADOR TEA
WHEREAS our Creator has placed certain herbs and plants for purposes revealed through time to our forefathers;
WHEREAS it is through the knowledge passed on by our forefathers that Labrador herbal tea has medicinal qualities;
WHEREAS the elders today still hold true this belief and value the use of Labrador Tea for the same herbal and medicinal purposes;
WHEREAS the harvest of such herbs and plants must be focused on traditional uses as opposed to commercial monetary gain;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Assembly endorses that the harvest of Labrador Tea be reserved exclusively for traditional nonÂcommercial uses especially that of medicinal purposes.
