RESOLUTION NO. 1994-10-12
SUBJECT: MUSHKEGOWUK TECHNICAL
SERVICES & CMHC PROGRAMS
WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk communities
in the James Bay area are in dire
technical services within the immediate area;
need of CMHC inspection and
AND WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk Technical Services Unit have qualified personnel to undertake, administer and perform the required inspections on behalf of CMHC Sudbury and ultimately the Mushkegowuk First Nations;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mushkegowuk Technical Services Unit be mandated to administer and provide technical services including the performance of housing inspections for the following CMHC programs:
1 ) Regular RRAP Loans up to
$6,250 forgivable.
2) Super RRAP Loans up to
$25,000 maximum.
3) Section 95 -New Housing
FURTHER that these services will be provided for the communities of Attawapiskat, Kashechewan, Fort Albany, New Post and Moose Cree First Nation.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any community and/or First Nation requiring these CMHC services within the Mushkegowuk area will inquire with the Mushkegowuk Council for review and approvals.
