RESOLUTION NO. 1994-10-17
SUBJECT: CHIEF AND CHAIRPERSON EMBLEM/MEDALLION
WHEREAS the position of Chief has traditionally been held in high esteem;
AND WHEREAS through tradition the position of Chief carried with it a symbol or means of identifying the position of Chief;
AND WHEREAS it is the desire of the Elders that this tradition be revived;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Assembly directs the Mushkegowuk Council to design an emblem or medallion for each Mushkegowuk Chief and Chairperson to wear at Mushkegowuk Assemblies and other official functions;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this be implemented no later than the 10th Annual Assembly.
