RESOLUTION NO. 2000-08-11

FORT ALBANY TRAINING FUND

WHEREAS the Fort Albany First Nation intends to proceed with the construction of sixty (60) new housing units; and

WHEREAS the F01t Albany First Nation anticipates starting construction in May 2001;and

WHEREAS the Fort Albany First Nation has identified their 2001 HRDC fundjng towards construction traimng programs; and

WHEREAS the existing cunent allocation for employment and training is $320,000; and

WHEREAS the Fort Albany First Nation has identified a minimum of seven hundred thousand dollars ($700,000) required for these training injtiatives;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mushkegowuk Chiefs in Assembly support the Fort Albany First Nation's request for HRDC training funding of $700,000 for the 2001/2002 fiscal year.
