SUPPORT FOR A DIABETES
EDUCATOR IN THE
KASHECHEWAN FIRST NATION
WHEREAS the provision of health services are of vital importance to Aboriginal communities;
WHEREAS there is a disproportionate number of community members suffering from diabetes in Kashechewan First Nation;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Chiefs of the Mushkegowuk Council support the Kashechewan First Nation in their efforts to have Weeneebayko Health Ahtuskaywin prioritize the needs of the Kashechewan community by providing them with the services of a Diabetes Educator.
