RESOLUTION NO. 2001-09-09
HEALTH CARE FACTTJTY STUDY FOR KASHECHEWAN FIRST NATION
WHEREAS quality health services and adequate health facilities are vital to ensuring the wellbeing of members of Kashechewan First Nation and;
WHEREAS the Kashechewan First Nation cunently has a nursing station that is severely inadequate to meet the health care needs of the Kashechewan First Nation and;
WHEREAS the population and health care needs of the community justifies the need for a larger and appropriately equipped health facility similar to the health care facilities in the communities of Attawapiskat and Fort Albany;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mushkegowuk Chiefs i.n Assembly fully supports the Kashechewan First Nation in its effo1is to obtain funding for a study for a health care facility which will adequately meet with community health care needs.
