RESOLUTION NO. 2001-09-15
YOUTH PROGRAMS
WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk youth need opporhmities to increase their knowledge of the world around them and;
WHEREAS creating relationships with other youth on a te1Titorial, provincial and global level can create awareness of issues that affect different communities and nationalities and;
WHEREAS the newfound awareness can improve inten-elations and decrease racism and discrimination;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mushkegowuk Chiefs in Assembly mandate the Omushkego Education, to work with the Mushkegowuk Youth Department, to create programs that will allow Mushkegowuk youth to learn more about the world around them.
