RESOLUTION NO. 2001-09-18

BOYSCOUT PROGRAMS

WHEREAS there is a need to increase the self esteem of Mushkegowuk Youth; and

WHEREAS the Boy Scouts of Canada allows Youth to learn skills such as discipline, responsibility and respect and also provides possibilities for group exchange visits;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mushkegowuk Chiefs in Assembly mandate the Mush.kegowuk Youth Department to explore the possibility of introducing the Boy Scouts programming with a focus on holistic and cultural progranuning into the Mushkegowuk communities.
