RESOLUTION NO. 2002-09-08
SUPPORT FOR REGIONAL MINING TRAINING CENTRE
WHEREAS there is substantial extensive mining exploration within the traditional territory of Attawapiskat First Nation, and;
WHEREAS there is a need for the training of regional and local human resources in the mmmg sector to ensure economic development and stability of the Mushkegowuk First Nations, and;
WHEREAS Attawapiskat First Nation desires to establish a regional training centre in partnerships with established training institutes, and;
WHEREAS Attawapiskat First Nation desires that this Regional Mining Training Centre be located in Attawapiskat.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the assembled Chiefs and delegates of the Mushkegowuk Council supports the Attawapiskat First Nation Regional Mining Training Centre Project.
