Senior Nation-to-Nation Relations
WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk Nation is in a nation-to-nation relationship with the provincial and federal governments of Canada; and
WHEREAS it is appropriate and necessary for the Mushkegowuk Nation to deal with the governments of Ontario and Canada at the most senior level;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Mushkegowuk Council consider developing a government to government strategy that would use teams of senior and expert Mushkegowuk representatives to approach the most senior levels of Ontario and Canadian governments, such as the Privy Council, for funding that is more appropriate to the needs and rights of the Mushkegowuk people.
