Mushkegowuk Council Women's Representative
WHEREAS Mushkegowuk Council by Resolution No. 2006-09-31 supported the creation of a Mushkegowuk women's association to speak on issues affecting our Nation; and
WHEREAS it is imperative that the women of Mushkegowuk Council community have a women's representative to speak on their behalf at Assemblies; and
WHEREAS a process has been carried out to select a suitable candidate to act as women's representative at the 2007 Annual Assembly;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Assembly recognize and support Sylvia Metatawabin as the Women's Representative for the Mushkegowuk Council 2007 Annual Assembly In Attawapiskat.
