Confirmation of Grand Chief and Deputy Grand Chief
WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk Council Elections for the positions of the Grand Chief and Deputy Grand Chiefs were held on August 30, 2011; and
WHEREAS in accordance with the Election Code 2007, Grand Chief Stan Louttit and Deputy Grand Chief Walter Leo Friday were sworn in on September 26, 2011 at the 26th Annual Mamowihitowin of Omushkego;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mamowihitowin of the Omushkegowuk accept and give our full support to Stan Louttit as the Grand Chief and Walter Leo Friday as the Deputy Grand Chief for a four (4) year term.
