Education Governance Workshop
WHEREAS the Chiefs of the communities of the Mushkegowuk Council, and the Education Authorities of the Mushkegowuk communities, are working together to advance the education of our children in the Mushkegowuk territories; and
WHEREAS it is important that the Chiefs as the political leadership of the Mushkegowuk people, and the members of the Education Authority Boards as the administrative leadership of our educational organizations, work together to co-ordinate their visions and their roles,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Mamowihitowin of the Mushkegowuk people recommends that an Education Governance Workshop be held in the next few months to bring together Mushkegowuk Chiefs and Mushkegowuk Education Authority board members, to facilitate understanding and co-ordination between them.
