Regional Mental Health Working Group
WHEREAS the Omushkegowuk recognize the need to advance the working relationship between Mental Health Workers at the regional level; and
WHEREAS the Omushkegowuk have expressed the need for solutions to come from the grassroots to determine alternatives in assisting the community on their specific mental health issues; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Omushkegowuk direct the office of the Grand Chief to seek funds and support the development of a regional forum during the upcoming year for a discussion on mental health issues;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the regional health forum consider the establishment of a _Regional Mental Health Working Group.
