Recruitment of a Regional Event Coordinator

WHEREAS Mushkegowuk Council hosts several regional events and the Council does not have a coordinator to effectively staff these key activities;

WHEREAS there are many regional events including the Great Moon Gathering, the Mushkegowuk Cup, the Mamowihitowin, as well as the Elders and Youth conferences we plan to hold all of which require planning and coordination to implement;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Mamowihitowin of the Omushkegowuk directs the Mushkegowuk. Council to explore the potential funding and creation of a Regional Events Coordinator position to plan and coordinate events authorised by the Mushkegowuk Council.
