Directors of Mushkegowuk Council

WHEREAS Mushkegowuk Council represents the collective interests of the Mushkegowuk First Nations; and

WHEREAS the Chiefs of the seven Mushkegowuk First Nations have always fulfilled the role of Directors of Mushkegowuk Council; and

WHEREAS Mushkegowuk Council By­law Number 1 Section 4.02 requires the members to elect the Chiefs as Directors at the Annual Meeting.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED thŁ this Mamowihitowin of the Mushkegowuk (Annual Meeting of Members) elects the seven Chiefs of the Mushkegowuk First Nations as the Board of Directors of Mushkegowuk Council as long as they continue to hold the office of Chief for their respective First Nation.
