Organizational Structure of the 1 oth Annual Mushkegowuk Cup

WHEREAS Mushkegowuk Council hosts the Annual Mushkegowuk Cup in Timmins, Ontario to promote the experience of Youth in Sport; and

WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk Council recognizes the importance of creating a safe, fair and enjoyable experience for the entire family and our minor hockey players; and

WHEREAS; this Mamowihitowin of the Omushkegowuk recognizes the importance of having the Mushkegowuk communities more involved in the structure of the Mushkegowuk Cup,

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Mamowihitowin of the Omushkegowuk directs the Mushkegowuk-Youth Department to lead the 10th Annual Mushkegowuk Cup as it is a Youth driven event; and

THEREFORE FURTHER IT BE RESOLVED, that the Youth Department lead in establishing an Executive Committee consisting of five (5) members from the Mushkegowuk Territory, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that once the Executive Committee is established it will be responsible to

review and make the necessary changes to the current rules, regulations and policies to promote an enjoyable experience for our minor hockey players, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this assembly encourages funding partners to provide support in order to ensure that events are able to continue.
