COMMUNITY OPEN SESSIONS TO GATHER INFORMATION OF MEMBERSHIP HEALTH MISDIAGNOSIS
WHEREAS the Chiefs and Delegates of this Kihchinaskishkatowin of the Omushkegowuk have strongly expressed serious health and safety concerns regarding misdiagnosis within the local health care system;
WHEREAS the Chiefs and Delegates, as guided by the elders, recognize the importance of documenting experiences of misdiagnoses within Mushkegowuk Communities;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Kihchinaskishkatowin of the Omushkegowuk direct Mushkegowuk Council to develop and undertake an effective investigation process to ensure the collection of membership experiences of misdiagnosis.
