Honoring the Late Grand Chief Dr. Stan Louttit and other regional leaders

WHEREAS The Omushkegowuk Nations continue to be gifted with many exceptional and knowledgeable leaders that have, and continue to make, personal sacrifices to improve the quality of life for the Omushkegowuk; and

WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk Council's exceptional leaders are elected by the Omushkegowuk and are expected to carry the Mushkegowuk Unity Bundle and Torch with dignity, humility and honour; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the Chiefs and delegates of this the 36th Mamowihitowin of Omushkegowuk recognize that our Nations continue to benefit from the legacy of the late Grand Chief Dr. Stan Louttit, as well as many other past elected regional leaders; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Chiefs and delegates of this 36th Mamowihitowin of Omushkegowuk directs the Office of the Grand Chief to plan and deliver a Gathering that Honours the late Grand Chief Dr. Stan Louttit and all other elected regional leaders.
